The Ginger Man Community Meeting

A restaurant style pub, The Ginger Man, will be presenting their plans to open in Fort Point at 374 Congress Street (Congress St. and Boston Wharf Road).  The Ginger Man originated in Texas in 1985 and opened in NY in 1996. Known for offering an extensive beer list with over 100 specialty beers on draught and in bottles and for pub fare, The Ginger Man will be requesting a 2am license.  Come meet the management and hear more about their plans.

Mayor Walsh Celebrates 315 A & Green Patriot Posters Opening

Mayor Martin J. Walsh celebrated the opening of Fort Point’s newest residential building, 315 on A, with Kelly Saito from Gerding Edlen, Brian Swett of  Boston’s Energy and Environment Department, John Fish of Suffolk Construction, and Sam Aquillano from Design Museum Boston.

315 on A Street is a 20-story 257,000 square foot building with 202 rental units including 22 onsite affordable units, 61 bike parking units, and 96 vehicle parking spaces. Read more at the Boston Redevelopment Authority.

Design Museum Boston’s exhibit Green Patriot Posters is now on view at 315 A Street. Green Patriot Posters inspired by World War II posters, hopes to unite us all once again – this time to combat climate change.

FPNA Announces 2014 Neighborhood Meetings & Survey

The Fort Point Neighborhood Association is excited to announce a calendar of meetings and events for 2014.  

We are looking for your input to make our neighborhood an even better place to live,
work and play.

 Monthly meetings will be held on:
 fourth
Tuesday of each month
starting at 6pm and finishing by 8pm
Factory 63 (63 Melcher St., ground level)           

Our format will include a general meeting at 6:00pm and a special guest for a community discussion/question and answer period each month.

 The January 28th meeting will feature City Council President Bill Linehan at 7:00pm.

 Please take a few minutes to respond to our survey, as we want to ensure that we are addressing topics, concerns and issues of all members of our Fort Point Community.

Parcel K Development Community Meeting

The Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) will be hosting a meeting regarding Parcel K development. Parcel K LLC is proposing to develop a mixed use project on Parcel K, located at corner of Congress St. and Northern Ave.
